It is with a very heavy heart that I have to pass on this sad news: Cecil Jackson, founder of the Hank Williams Museum in Montgomery, has passed away.
Daddy was recovering from emergency abdominal surgery, done Saturday night. This morning, (March 15, 2010) his heart gave out from the trauma of the events.
The funeral was held at:
Brookside Funeral Home in Millbrook, Al.
Visitation: 6 - 8 pm on Tuesday March 16th
Funeral Services: 11:00am Wednesday March 17th, 2010
In lieu of flowers, the Jackson family requests that donations be sent to the Hank Williams Museum. The Museum was Cecil's crowning achievement, and a monument to his dedication to Hank .
